I watched the 2016 World Series with my family. I was hoping the Cleveland Indians would've won, but I'm ok with the Chicago Cubs winning. Watching the 2016 World Series made me excited for my baseball season. I cannot wait!!!

When should you buy a bird?... When it's going cheep.
I like birds. I particularly like Galapagos Penguins. One thing that makes these penguins unique is that they live in warmer climates compared to a lot of other types of penguins. They are the second smallest species of penguins. They have a lot of predators on land and in the sea, and they are effected by humans, and volcano activity. They are an endangered species. Look at this picture, aren't they too cute? What do you call board games that are boring?... Bored games.
A couple weeks back, I had the chance to play a card gamed called Garbage with a couple classmates. After 3 rounds of playing, I asked my friends some questions about their experience. When I asked them if they liked playing it, both of them said yes, that they had fun. When asked what their favorite game was, one of them said Garbage while the other said Bunco. I asked if they would play games with me again sometime and they said they would. Where do hungry football players play? In the Supper Bowl.
I love attending the WHS football games. I go to every game I can. I really enjoy the atmosphere of the games like the band, cheerleaders, the crowd, and the competitive spirit. I like how it's a nice start of the weekend as well. When everyone is excited and cheering it feels like the stadium is shaking. I cheer on our Falcons, and hope it carries them to victory! This weekend was fun! I watched the Seahawks, but I don't know whether they won or lost, but it doesn't matter because I just like to support them and watch the action. I caught up on some much needed sleep. I even studied a little for my Contemporary World Issues class. I told a lot of jokes over the weekend, and made people laugh. I was very busy also, and went on a lot of errands.
I had fun last night. I played games with my brother. We did play UNO.. I love
Toastie, she is growing up so fast. Senior pictures are coming up. I like to have my picture taken. I am feeling good today.. I like ceramics and playing with the clay. Right now I'm really tired. We are taking a quiz in Mr. Eickhoff's class , I am paying attention and hope to get a good grade. I have a brother. He is older than I am I enjoyed my weekend after the first week of school. I went shopping, and went to church. I also relaxed and watched T.V. The main event was the Seattle Seahawks game. I like to watch football, but the Seahawks are the best. They won their game but only by a little. I think they will have a good season. My favorite thing to watch is the offensive plays, in particular the running backs run. I like the new running back, and think he will do a good job. I also really like to watch WHS football, and hope to go to a game soon. I am interested in going to a Volleyball game at WHS too!
I listen to a lot of music. I'm a fan of rock n' roll, country, and jazz. I went to a concert over summer break. There were 3 bands, I enjoyed the 2nd band as well as the head-liner. There were 4 people in the main band, a drummer, vocalist, bass player and a guitar player. I went with some of my family, and the weather was cloudy.
Molly was a beautiful chocolate lab. We had her for 12 years. She loved to go for walks, especially on the beach. She also love chasing balls and sticks. She loved spending time and being close to her family. In December, before Christmas, mom noticed Molly's belly was hard and she was acting kind of funny. The vet said she had a tumor on her spleen but she was not a good candidate for surgery. They told us to enjoy the time we had left with Molly but they didn't know how long it would be. On Father's day, Molly started to show signs she was ready to say goodbye. We had a vet come to the house to help us say goodbye. I lay on the floor with her and held her paw as she left this world. When it was all over mom and Ben buried Molly in our backyard. It's really different without Molly around. There's nobody greeting people at the front door, nobody cleaning up spills on the kitchen floor, no body following me from room to room in the house. I'm glad Molly doesn't have to be in pain or scared anymore, but we all miss her. I really enjoy doing art projects, but with my disabilities it can be a little difficult. Thankfully with modifications I can still do a lot of art projects. We created a sunflower in my independent living class, and I would like to share how I was able to create this. 1. A staff put glue on the paper plate 2. Put piece of tissue paper in my hand 3. Staff brought plate up to the tissue paper in my hand to adhere 4. We repeated steps 2 & 3 until the plate was covered 5. Then, a staff asked where I wanted to put the pedals, she would ask "do you want it here?" and I would reply yes or no. When I said yes, she stapled the pedal to the plate. 6. To add the seeds, the staff put a black marker in my hand and helped me move my hand in small motions to draw the seeds. I really liked this project and how the staff helped assist me. |
